Vinicius Jr reaches AGREEMENT to renew at Real Madrid till 2030

Vinicius Jr currently has a contract with Real Madrid that runs till the summer of 2027, earning roughly €15M per season. However, Real Madrid are looking the fasten their grip on their most prized asset, with player and club on the same page.

The Merengues have offered Vinicius Jr a 5 year contract, which will lock him down till the summer of 2030. As per AS, there’s an agreement in principle between both parties.

As per the source, the only thing left is a signature. There’s total verbal agreement between both parties. The players will embark to the United States for the club World Cup later this month, and on their return everything will be finalized.

The source also stated that the player during the 5 years span of his new contract will earn €100M. This means he’ll see a €5M per season increase during this period of time.

€20M per season will see Vinicius Jr become one of the highest paid players in the Real Madrid dressing room. However, Money was never a motivating factor for the player. He had even better monetary offers elsewhere.

Vinicius REJECTED €200/season offer from Saudi Arabia

For over 2 seasons now, Saudi Arabia has been pushing hard to land Vinicius jr for one of their top clubs, notably Al Hilal. As of January 2025, AS reported that Saudi delegations were offering €300M to sign the player, while proposing a salary worth €200M per season for the next 5 years.

This would see the player earn €1BN over the said period, the biggest offer ever proposed for a footballer. However, Vinicius Jr was never moved by the money factor as we earlier said.
