Angelo Stiller has enjoyed a stellar performance this season at stuttgart, guiding them to a DFB pokal cup, and a Europa League qualification. Stiller was the main man in the DFB final, proving 2 assists in a MOTM performance leading his teams to a 4-2 victory.

The German international has since been over-flooded with offers from European  heavyweights with Liverpool and Real Madrid most interested. At 24, Stiller ticks all the boxes of Real Madrid’s new transfer policy.

Xabi Alonso asked for a Midfield controller

New head coach Xabi Alonso has been very vocal about how he wants his Real Madrid side to look like. The Spaniard prepares for a high press, control and a proactive setup. To achieve this, he needs the required players.

As per reports from Marca, Xabi Alonso has asked Real Madrid to sign a midfielder who would be tasked with controlling tempo. Word has it that Stiller is the closest thing to Kroos’ profile, which fuels Madrid’s interest.

Talking about Toni Kroos, it’s important to highlight that the club legend also publicly recommended Angelo Stiller. The German believe his fellow compatriot would be key in this Real Madrid’s midfield.
