Earlier today, France football announced a list of 30 candidates, who stand a chance of winning the Ballon d’Or. Amongst the 30 candidates, seven of them play Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos enjoyed a stellar 2023/24 season, Winning the champions league, the LaLiga title and Spanish super cup with some individual outstanding performances in the squad.

Amongst the thirty nominees, here is a list of every Real Madrid player nominated;
Fede Valverde — Uruguay
The Uruguayan Midfielder enjoyed one of his best individual season in his senior career. Playing almost every game for club and country, Valverde earned his first Ballon d’Or nomination this year.
Antonio Rüdiger — Germany
Quarterfinalist with Germany at Euro 2024, Rüdiger was a key player for both club and country. In an injury ladden season for Madrid in defence, Rüdiger was the driving force which oversaw countless victories for the club.
Kylian Mbappe — France
Semifinalist with France at euros 2024, kylian Mbappe was a key player for club and country. Largely considered as a top 5 candidate, Mbappe played a crucial role in PSG reaching the UCL SEMI-FINALS.
Dani Carvajal — Spain
The Spanish population has made their intentions on their Ballon d’Or favorite clear, and it’s Dani Carvajal. Carvajal enjoyed arguably his best season, winning: LaLiga, Spanish supercopa, UCL and Euros 2024.
Toni Kroos — Germany (retired)
There’s no perfect way to call time to your career as the of Kroos. Although he failed to win the euros with Germany, Kroos enjoyed one of his best seasons in his senior career. With the German now retired, you can be sure this is the last time you’ll see his name on this award.
Jude Bellingham — England
Bellingham enjoyed an incredible first season with Real Madrid. Won the UCL and league title at first time of asking with Madrid, he also finished finalist in the 2024 Euros competition. Bellingham, is also largely backed by a portion of the fans to win this year’s Ballon d’Or
Vinicius Jr. — Brazil
Clear favorite for the award, Vinicius Jr was the backbone of Madrid’s successful season. Incredible individual performances on numerous occasions in the champions league oversaw Real Madrid over the line, and he also played a big role in the teams LaLiga victory.
