Young Arda Güler (18) joined Real Madrid a little over a year ago from Turkish giants fenerbahce. On arrival at the club, Real Madrid had to shove away interests from some top European giants, including arch Rivals Barcelona.
A Right-winger by trade, Carlo Ancelotti has always been a fan of seeing Güler excell in Midfield. The Italian gaffer even went as far as to claim that if Güler plays more in Midfield, he has what it takes to be the best in that position.
Ancelotti impressed by Güler as a Midfielder
Carlos Ancelotti has been in owe of Güler’s hard-work and performances in Midfield, as reported by Marca. Most recently, Real Madrid took-on Real sociedad on the weekend, and Güler was awarded a start in Midfield owing to injuries to star players; Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouaméni, Camavinga and Ceballos.

Güler is following the footsteps of Isco and Di maria
As Some of the most dangerous wingers turn Midfielder, Arda Güler is gradually joining a rich list of Isco and Di maria.
Di maria joined Real Madrid in the early stages of his career in 2010, for a fee of €25m. His versatility and playmaking abilities were the highlight of his four-year career with the Royal whites. In his overall time with Madrid, Di Maria played 190 matches, scoring 36 goals and assisted 87.
