Rodrygo will MISS OUT on Ancelotti’s Brazilian squad list

Rodrygo is one of the many Real Madrid players who massively underperformed this season. Nothing seemed to work for the Brazilian as he struggled to find momentum all season long.

Owing to his performances, rumors have started creeping in on a potential Real Madrid exit. Some sources have it that he might not even make the starting XI under new head coach Xabi Alonso.

The player is reportedly weighing his options, and is said to be in contact with a few European heavyweights. The most talked about suitor being Arsenal.

In general, Rodrygo hasn’t played a single minute for Real Madrid since the 3-2 defeat in the copa del Rey finals. He’s been reported ill, with no real injury suffered.

Despite being fit, Rodrygo is expected to miss out on Brazil’s upcoming games in the next international break. The report comes courtesy of Tatimantovani.

Rodrygo suffers from physical and Mental exhaustion

First off, the source made it pretty clear that this was agreed between the player and the new Selecão coach Carlo Ancelotti, who happened to be Rodrygo’s manager at Real Madrid this season.

The player is claimed to be suffering from a physical and mental exhaustion. With all the chatter that has gone on during the season, it’s not surprising the player suffered a mental exhaustion.

However, Rodrygo will take this time out to rethink, rest and return fresh with hunger for the next season. Unless things go sideways, the player is expected to be present and fully fit for the club World Cup tournament.

The Challenge of the Club World Cup

A new competition under a new coach, the Club World Cup presents an opportunity for Rodrygo to have a fresh start. Xabi Alonso will be open to recuperating the best version of his players and Rodrygo’s services could come in handy.

However , the player first has to convince the manager he can count on him. Whether Alonso plays a front 2 or front 3 will depend of Rodrygo’s efficiency.
