In what was a disappointing result, Real Madrid suffered to get back into the contest after conceding early on against Las Vegas. Although it’s still very early conclude, the defending champions are slowly losing their grip on the title.

Prior to the teams performances on the night, Madrid my DNA brings your the players Ratings and short remakes.

UD Las Palmas 1-1 Real Madrid
UD Las Palmas 1-1 Real Madrid

Gk: Thibaut Courtois: 7.1

Although he could have done better for the goal, Courtois did everything possible to ensure matters doesn’t get worse.

Lucas Vasquez: 7.3

In a game full of negativities, Vasquez’s performance can be highlighted under the few positives. Was electric in attack as always

Militão 7.0

His biggest regret will be not doing better to prevent the goal, otherwise he was solid. Made a lot of important tables especially the 1v1 block to prevent 2-0.

Rüdiger 6.9

Not his best of nights. For a player of Rüdiger’s quality, you’ll expect him to do better defensively especially for the goal conceded. However, you can’t overlook Rüdiger’s attacking contributions. Was close to scoring from range

Ferland Mendy 6.3

Mendy looked like he lacked confidence in himself. Picked up another booking after seeing straight red in opening match day and was non existent in attack.

Tchouaméni 7.0

Lacked control in Midfield. Of course it’s clear he can’t replace Kroos, but he needs to do better.

Fede Valverde 8.2

By far Real Madrid’s best player on the night. Always looking energetic, made those progressive runs and almost replicated the goal he scored against Valladolid if not for a fine save by the keeper.

Modrić 7.0

Was no were near the Luka Modrić you’ll expect to show up on a match day, lacked control and precision in most cases.

Brahim Diaz 6.7

For a player who is usually bold on the ball, his contributions today were little to non-existent.

Vinicius Jr 7.3

Of course, the goal helps his case alot, but it’s more like one of the few right decisions he got on the night. Held on to the ball for too long and didn’t look like he trusted his teammates enough.

Kylian Mbappe: 6.9

Still without a goal in LaLiga, Mbappe fires blank for the third game running. Got frustrated with the opponents low block and took some decent shots from distance which might well count on other nights.

Substitutes

Fran Garcia; 6.5

Offered more attacking options when he came in for Mendy, but to no avail.

Rodrygo 6.9

Created two chances while having a go on target himself, but was too direct to beat the keeper.

Arda Güler; 6.9

Güler has an immediate impact common on as he won a penalty just minutes after. He also created 3 chances and two big chances in just 25 minutes.

Dani Carvajal; 6.4

Not a bad performance from a vice captain off the bench, but he still has more time to get it right this season.

Carlo Ancelotti 6.1

His starting lineup looked logical on paper but lacked understanding on the field. Credits to his substitute management on the night tho….
