Real Madrid makes an offer for 20 years old Granada defender

Unlike  other summer transfers windows, Real Madrid have been relatively active in the market this summer. The club has already completed 3 signings so far in Trent, Huijsen and Franco Mastantuono. The fourth expected to be over the line soon with the arrival of Alvaro Carreras more than assured.

According to marca, the Merengues are already looking into the market yet again, to complete another signing. This comes in the form of Oscar Naasei, a 20 years old defender (CB) for Granada.

An offer has already been sent to the Sagunda club.

Although details are missing, the report insists that Real Madrid have already informed Granada of their interest. Infact, an offer has already been tabled to the Laliga 2 side. The exact figures are yet to be known.

However, the Ghanaian  international is currently valued at €300k according to Transfer markt. A fee Real Madrid could pay without batting an eye.

How do the Los Blancos intend to use the player?

Even for a Laliga 2 side like Granada, Oscar has only managed 1 appearance  in the team’s last 12 games. He is more involved with the Granada B team than with the first team squad.

With that being said, it’s not hard to figure he is going to serve as an addition to the Castilla defense. Real Madrid have already completed one signing for Castilla this summer in the form of Abdellah Ouzane from Ajax, and Oscar Naasei could be next in line.

At just 20 years old, Oscar sure does have a lot of time on his side to grow, justifying Real Madrid’s interest. The grass may not be green as of now, but no one can tell what the future holds.

When it comes to taking risks on signing Young and unproven talents, Real Madrid is a tier above other clubs. Once the potential is there, they don’t mind jumping on the train while the stocks are low, offering the right environment for growth.
