Real Madrid want Castello Lukeba of Liepzik
According to the source, the merengues currently holds interest in French Olympics silver medalist Castello Lukeba, who currently plays his trade for Liepzik.
At 21, Lukeba has generated a lot of interest in Europe, as he’s been constantly linked with European heavyweights, Real Madrid included. His performances at the Olympics made a great case for himself.

Real Madrid started asking about RB Leipzig’s CB Castello Lukeba (21) a few weeks ago. They scouted him against Atlético on Thursday.
A much needed signing for Real Madrid
Considered a super team, one area Real Madrid are really lacking is the defense. The club opted to go into this season with only 2 fit senior CB’s, after missing out on Leny yoro.
Of the 2 (Militão and Rüdiger), Militão is just coming back off an ACL injury, and is not upto the plate yet. This highlights Real Madrid’s poorocity at the back this season.
The club is heavily banking on the return of David Alaba, but for someone who hasn’t played for over a year, his form for when he returns is a big question mark.
Meanwhile, if they were to sign someone of Castello Lukeba’s status, they would boast some assurance. The youngstar who still has alot to learn, is already doing pretty good for himself at his young age, and could help the squad a great deal.
His ability to win aerial duels, his physique an ball playing abilities are valuable assets for a team like Madrid. However, whether a deal will materialize is unclear at this moment.
