Real Madrid hold interest in Rodri

According to the journalist who happens to be man city’s correspondent for the athletic, Real Madrid holds interest in Rodri. A statement from the journalist claimed;

“Real Madrid have an interest in Rodri, but they believe that they don’t have the means to make it happen. There is no intention of matching what he’s been offered by City nor their transfer fee demand.”

“But they are willing to wait for the outcome of the 115 charges to see what happens.”

According to the source, Real Madrid are well aware of the fact that signing PEP’S best Midfielder won’t be a piece of cake. However, it did make mention of the fact that the club will pay close attention to city’s ongoing 115 charges case.

What does Rodri bring to the table

Champions League winner, Euro winner and Euro best player for 2024, Rodri has a world of experience on his resume. Widely tipped as one of the best defensive Midfielders in the world for sometime now, Rodri could offer a lot to this Real Madrid’s Midfield.

Also, it will be easy for him to blend into the culture of the city considering he’s Spanish. Adapting to his new environment won’t be a problem.

However, should a deal push through, Rodri will have to shove off competition from Tchouaméni. The Frenchman is the main DM of the team and won’t give up his position cheaply.

With nothing confirmed yet, it’s left to be seen if a deal does materialises between the two parties.
