One of the big positives this new season has been the performances of Endrick and Arda Güler. Despite both not being regulars in the starting lineup, they have stepped up to the plate when called upon for Real Madrid.

Arda Güler and Endrick this season

Arda Güler (19) and Endrick (18) are amongst the youngest in the squad. One thing very common in both stars is their fighting spirit, and the club appreciates that alot.

Arda Güler for one, has put his injury history far behind him. The youngstar arrived pre-season in good form, and impressed Ancelotti a great deal in the US.

In the five appearances he has made this season, two are as a starter. Carlo Ancelotti has used him more as a Midfielder, as he believes the youngstar has everything it takes to succeed in that area of the field.

Endrick on the other hand has seen less minutes come his way as compared to Güler. Despite playing very little, the youngstar has impressed everyone at the club, and has even gotten two goals to his name already.

Scoring on his LaLiga and UCL debut, Endrick became the youngest Real Madrid player to score for Real Madrid in the champions league. His goal against Stuttgart on Tuesday was the highlight of the clash as he shocked everyone from an impossible angle.

Projects for the future

Despite their huge impact to the team at their young age, Real Madrid consider both stars as long term projects. Both signings defines the club’s transfer policy of signing young players and developing them to superstars.

A CF by trade, Endrick will be hoping to become Real Madrid’s main man up top in the coming years. Arda Güler for his part is more versatile, as he operates both at Right-wing and in Midfield.

Ancelotti has full confidence in both players, as he intends to get them ready for a big future.
