It has not been the ideal start to the season for Real Madrid, who have faced some harsh realities after the high expectations they had. The club finally landed dream signing kylian Mbappe, with the player expected to be the icing of the cake for the then best team in the world, but things appear to be going downhill instead. Word has it that Florentino Perez is beginning to get impatient.
Despite being the club president, Perez is undoubtedly the number one Real Madrid fan out here, and just like any other madridista, he wants nothing but the best for the team.
Concerns over Bellingham’s role.
According to Spanish newspaper Relevo [via The madrid zone], Florentino Perez is beginning to get impatient with Bellingham’s new role. The Englishman has seen less success in front of goal this season, and is yet to open his goal scoring account for the club.
One of the highlights of Bellingham’s new role was seen in the El Clásico, where the overall players position at full-time saw him playing deeper that Lucas Vasquez, in the RB position. With this, his scoring prowess has dropped to zero.
Perez however, seems to be fed up with this new positioning and urges for a major change. This decision solely depends on Ancelotti, who is the mastermind behind this changes.
The president’s frustration doesn’t only ends at the level of Bellingham’s positioning. The report also goes on to mention Endrick and Arda Güler.
Both young players have seen their role reduced drastically lately, and the club does not seem to understand why. The feeling from the higher ups is that both players have always impressed when given the opportunity, and they should get more minutes. Sofar, Arda Güler has managed 292 minutes, while Endrick only played 107 in total this season.
To conclude, the report also stated that Perez is the biggest fan of the squad. He believes this is the best ever Real Madrid side, and they should be succeeding. Despite the poor start, he still believes fully in his team to turn this around.
