Real Madrid has established a firm relationship with Brazilian outfits in recent years including palmeiras, Santos and flamengo. When it comes to signing and developing young Brazilians, the merengues come second to none.

The most recent arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu from Brazil is Endrick, who joined the club from palmeiras. From the look of things, Madrid might be looking at another possible signing from the club in the future.

Reis is fast becoming the sought-after player in the Brazilian market, owing to his impressive performances for palmeiras in the recent past.

If a report from Spanish publication marca is to be believed (via Madrid zone), Real Madrid has now identified Vitor Reis as a long term solution to their defensive lack, after missing out on the signing of Leny yoro from French LIGUE 1 side Lille.

However, it looks like Real Madrid are not the only club interested in Vitor Reis. The merengues will face competition from EPL giants Liverpool and Arsenal, while arch Rivals FC Barcelona have also inquired about a possible transfer.

Palmeiras has had a reputation for developing one of the most fine young talents in recent past. Most recent examples in this case include Estevao Williams and Endrick.

Palmeiras hold’s Reis in high regards

Meanwhile the player has appeared in the radar of some European heavyweights, palmeiras won’t let him go cheaply. Reis has a contract with the Brazilian outfit until 2028, with a release clause understood to be around €100m. This goes on to show how high palmeiras value their young gem.

Knowing Real Madrid, paying such a high fee for an unproven teenager is out of question. The merengues will negotiate on their terms if a transfer was to ever materialize.

Real Madrid needs a CB

Indeed, heading into the season, Madrid only had Militão and Rüdiger as their fit senior CB options. David Alaba is not expected to return until November, Joan Martinez picked up an ACL injury and vellejo suffered from fitness issues.

However, taking all this into consideration, Real Madrid still opted against signing a CB after the club missed out on LENY YORO. Now, with fixtures coming fast and thick, they would only have themselves to blame if there was a fitness problem for one of Militão and Rüdiger or maybe both.

With a long career still ahead of him, vitor Reis could become the next Leny yoro project. However, Madrid won’t pay crazy money for the 18 years old.
