Juni Calafat arrives Buenos Aires to HIJACK Franco Mastantuono from PSG

Juni Calafat, Real Madrid’s chief scout is known for his tactical negotiating strategies, especially when Real Madrid enters bidding wars with rival clubs. He was key when Real Madrid completed a last minute transfer for Arda Guler, as they hijacked him from Barcelona.

Just 24 hours after news that PSG were in advanced stages with Franco Mastantuono broke, Juni Calafat is already making his move. The Real Madrid chief scout has been reported to hake booked a flight to Buenos Aires immediately, as he plans to overcome the odds. He is currently in Argentina.

Real Madrid re-opens talks with Franco’s entourage

After seeing how advanced PSG were on the deal, Real Madrid decided to make a quick turnaround. The club first inquired if the deal with the French and European champions was sealed, and are going all out now that there’s a chance.

Fabrizio also claimed talks between Real and the player previously collapsed because of some misunderstandings with his agent. The club believed his agent was using their image to farm interest from other clubs for the player.

However, even that has completely changed now. Both parties have come to a consensus and will be exploring a possible move. Furthermore, the player’s first choice is Real Madrid. It has always been his dream to play for the Merengues.

Santiago Solari is  PUSHING for Franco’s signing

At first, Real Madrid thought of giving up on the player, but it was Solari who kept pushing. The club’s decision was based on the fact that they feared the player would slow Guler’s development.

However, Solari made them understand Franco is a generational talent. He’s a big fan of the player, and the club must act fast if they wish to strike a deal.
