It has not been a good start of the season to Real Madrid with a number of injuries pilling up at the club. Jude Bellingham was a victim of this injury crises, after suffering a muscle injury at the level of his plantar fasciitis in his right leg. His recovery period was initially set at around a month.
However, according to recent reports, Jude Bellingham’s recovery is going faster than expected. The player is now set for an early return to action.
Jude Bellingham’s return date
According to journalist Rodra P (via the Madrid zone), Jude Bellingham’s recovery is going great and he is set to return EARLIER than expected.
There is a high possibility the Midfielder could feature against Espanyol, at the Bernabéu on September 21st.
The journalist also went on to add that;
Since the moment Jude Bellingham got injured, he has found a positive side of being able to rest and avoid the international break.
He looks happy, and is combining gym and pool sessions, doing his best to return as soon as possible.
Big relief for Carlo Ancelotti
This will feel like a big weight lifted off Ancelotti’s shoulders, owing to the growing list of injuries at the club.
The manager has already lost some big names to injuries, including: Tchouaméni, Ferland Mendy, eder Militão, Dani Ceballos, Camavinga, and recently Arda Güler has joined the list as well.
Owing to Arda Güler’s injury, Carlo Ancelotti only has Modrić and Valverde as fit first team Midfielder. An early return for Bellingham will be welcomed with delight by the manager.
Jude Bellingham, who was one of the main protagonists of Real Madrid’s success last season will look to recreate a similar performance for the club this time out, as the team will look to defend its crown in the champions league and LaLiga.
