Jobe Bellingham, 19, has just completed his record move from recently promoted premier league side Sunderland to Dortmund. The black and yellows paid €33M for 85% of the player’s rights, on a 5 year deal.
Following in the footsteps of his older brother Jude Bellingham, the Englishman will be hoping for a successful stint in Germany. However, he is yet to reach his biggest career dream as a professional footballer.
Bellingham brothers together at the Bernabeu
According to Marca, Jobe’s move to Dortmund is just another step toward reaching his ultimate goal. The image in his mind is to maneuvering his way to the very top, where even Real Madrid will come calling.
Seeing how the Bernabeu has welcomed his brother and his family, donning the famous white shirt is now a part of his bucket list. More so with his brother Jude right beside him to share the moment with him.
However, with his move to Dortmund only just completed, that will be a conversation for another day. Maybe in 2-3 years, this will become a real subject on the table. One thing is for sure, the player must give his absolute all if he has any plans of making that dream a reality.
Good for him, there’s someone close to him who knows a thing or two about working tooth and nail to make dreams come true. It couldn’t be a more perfect person than his very own brother, Jude Bellingham.
The thought of having both Jude and Jobe Bellingham at Real Madrid
Two incredibly versatile players, Jude has proven this season that he could basically fit-in in every position on the field. In fact, a heat map after the first El Clasico of the season showed the player operating more as a left back. He has had incredible shifts at CM, AM, striker and even operating up right.
Jobe for his part, can operate flawlessly as a DM, CM and AM, according to Sofascore statistics. Merging this two profiles on the same team with that brotherly bond will be absolutely mind blowing.
