David Alaba’s recovery date REVEALED!

It has been almost 10 months since David Alaba suffered an ACL injury, in December of 2023. The Austrian international was tipped to return and the start of the season, but his recovery has taking more time than initially anticipated.

However, there’s always a light at the end of every dark tunnel, with David Alaba’s case being no different.

In a major update by reliable Spanish journalist Mario Cortegana of the athletic, Alaba is expected to join the first team by November.

After a series of roadblocks, there is now a Big relief amongst the leaders at the club, who highly value Alaba’s qualities.

Heading into the new season, Carlo Ancelotti only had two fit CB’s at his disposal, with Young Joan Martinez also suffering an ACL injury after being tipped to act as a replacement for Alaba in the first team till he returned.

Alaba, joined Madrid on a free transfer from Bayern two seasons ago. The Austrian was a key figure in the 2022 UCL triumph forming and incredible duo with Militão.

Indeed, Alaba did not enjoy the best of spells before his injury. The Austrian did not look particularly confident enough and made costly mistakes at times.

As a result, Rumors began creeping in, Linking the player with a move away with Saudi being the likely destination.

Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti continued to believe in the player, who was seen as one of the team leaders. The Royal whites took the risk not to sign another player, and wait patiently for their man.

However, competition for places wont come easy. Alaba will have to prove himself all over again, with Rüdiger becoming unplayable and Militão returning to his best.
