Carlo Ancelotti claimed in a recent media interaction that Real Madrid’s transfer window was closed as they will be no more new signings nor players leaving, but that might change in the final stretch of the window.
Dani Ceballos has always been one such player whose name has constantly been linked with a potential exit from the club, owing to the lack of game time in the recently concluded season and although it looked like he was going to stay, the situation might have just taking another twist.
Interest from Real Betis and Monaco
In a recent update, reliable Spanish newspaper Marca, is claiming that Real Madrid’s midfielder Dani Ceballos has received two very late offers, with just a little over a week to go in this summer transfer window.
Indeed, French LIGUE 1 side Monaco are exploring a potential loan move for Dani Ceballos as they look to bolster their midfield for the ongoing season in an attempt to challenge PSG to the league title.
However, Monaco are not the only club to have shown interest in the Spaniard as boyhood club Real betis have also intensified their interest gor a loan move as well.
A transfer to Real betis however, will be tricky as the club are in a bit of a financial standstill Will need to oversee Ceballos’ arrival with a big exit from their current squad.
It’s worth nothing mentioning the fact that Ceballos at the beginning of the summer had asked the club to leave but didn’t receive the offers he might be hopping for from top European clubs.
Ancelotti’s stance in all this
Although Ceballos has not played much, Carlo Ancelotti is one of the people at Real Madrid who highly value the services of Dani Ceballos. According to Marca, Carlo Ancelotti considers Ceballos a major part of his plans moving into a highly demanding season and wishes the player could stay.
