Real Madrid’s predicted starting XI against las Palmas

Real Madrid will take-on Las Palmas away from home tonight, in what will be their third game of the 2024/25 season.

The merengues are currently placed 6th on the table, with 4 points in two games heading into tonight’s fixture. Carlo Ancelotti and co. will be looking to win this one to move closer to top table.

Here is Madrid my DNA’s predicted lineup in a must win game against las Palmas.

Defenders

Gk; Thibaut Courtois:

There is a Sens of big relief amongst the Madrid faithfuls to see Courtois is back to his best. Courtois when fully fit is always the first name on the managers roster.

RB: Dani Carvajal:

Carvajal will play a big role for Madrid this season as one of the teams leaders on and off the field, his performances in the opening three games have been very positive.

CB; Eder Militão:

Militão’s performances when he returned at the tail end of last season raised a few eyebrows, but the Brazilian has been quick to put all doubters to sleep. In just three games, he has shown the world why Ancelotti once called him “the best defender”

CB; Antonio Rüdiger:

Rüdiger’s combination with Militão has been quite impressive so far, The two players understand each other perfectly and madridistas will hope it stays that way.

LB; Ferland Mendy:

After successful serving his one match ban, Mendy is expected to move straight back into the starting lineup.

Midfielders

CM; Fede Valverde:

Fede Valverde is the backbone of this Real Madrid Midfield. With the absence of Kroos, Valverde has been task with the leadership role in the ball management department. Never gets tired of running, huge impact on both ends of the field and more.

CM; Aurelien Tchouaméni:

With the team now switched to a 4-3-3, Tchouaméni will now operate as a CM, will also dropping deep to help in defence.

AM; Brahim Diaz:

A very creative Midfielder/Right-winger, Brahim definitely deserves the start in Bellingham’s absence. His goal and assist as a sub in the previous game had an instant impact on the results.

Attackers

RW; Arda Güler:

After sunday’s 3-0 win against Valladolid, Spanish newspaper, Relevo released a possible lineup for tonight’s game. Arda Güler was one of the surprising starters ahead of Rodrygo. How true this is will be determined after Ancelotti releases his starting lineup Toni.

LW: Vinicius Jr:

Vinicius Jr is one of the undisputed starters for this Real Madrid side. His quality to creat something out of nothing puts him amongst the very best in the world.

CF; Kylian Mbappe:

Mbappé is yet to get his goal in LaLiga. Tonight’s game is the perfect opportunity to put all critics to sleep after firing blank In back-to-back outings.

Possible subs;

Luka Modrić;

Modrić is the current captain of this Real Madrid side, and although he’s 38, his impact is still massive.

Endrick:

Endrick wrote the headlines 10 minutes after coming on at the Bernabéu, after getting his debut goal for Madrid. Another late Cameo tonight will go a long way in boosting his confidence.

Ceballos;

Dani Ceballos has been linked with a lot of exit talks in the last 12 hours, but that won’t influence Ancelotti’s trust towards him. Ceballos brings a world of experience on the pitch.

A win against las Palmas will put Real Madrid on 7 points, level with Villarreal and two behind leaders Barca. The merengues also have an opportunity to sit second in the table due to goal difference.
