It’s a less tense atmosphere at the Real Madrid headquarters now as compared to when Camavinga got injured before the super cup final. In a training session in Warsaw, a coming together with French compatriot Aurelien Tchouaméni, meant Camavinga will be out for at least two months. He’s yet to play a single minute this season.
However, the initial sensations as of now are very positive, with a return not too far ahead. Prior to his injury, journalist Arancha Rodriguez has shed light on the situation, while pointing towards a potential return date. (Via the Madrid zone)
Camavinga joins the group on Wednesday
As per the source, the French man could return to general team training by Wednesday. This completely rules him out of tomorrow’s clash at the Bernabéu against Alaves.
However, his participation for the Madrid Derby on Sunday are still unknown. He is likely to miss the big night, or could be named on the bench by Ancelotti at most. This is owed to the lack of rhythm and time, as he’s yet to get a single official minute.
Chances are not only Camavinga will be missing out on tomorrow’s clash. Bellingham and Carvajal are other options who will not be counted upon.
Big news for Real Madrid
They could be no better return date for Camavinga than now, when Real Madrid seems to be growing in confidence, after a poor start. The team is now on a four game winning streak, and will be looking to continue that good form with the addition of Camavinga.
There’s no denying the youngstar’s impact, as his versatility has offered some great help to the team in the past. He has operated at LB , CM, DM and pivot, making him a key asset to Ancelotti’s plans.
In addition to that, the return of Camavinga gives Ancelotti more options to choose from. The manager will also have the chance to rotate his team when needed, ahead of a congested schedule.
