In what was a 0-0 scoreline between Wales and turkey, the highlight of the encounter was young Arda Güler, who was seen limping off the field at full-time.
Arda Güler played 90 minutes for turkey last night, and while there were no particular sights of an injury, the youngstar was seen receiving treatment on the touchline after being subbed off in extra time.
Owing to this, turkey head coach montella, confirmed to the the media that Güler had suffered a knock on the night. However, the extent of the injury is yet to be known, as there isn’t an official statement from any of the parties concerned, be it Real Madrid or turkey at the moment.
An increasing injury list for madrid
Barely four games into the new season, Real Madrid already have some serious injuries to deal with.
It started with an ACL injury to academy star Joan Martinez, who was tipped to join the first team after the club missed out on the signing of Leny yoro. The youngstar is now sidelined for atleast 7-8 months.
Eduardo Camavinga was next on this list, after suffering an injury in training ahead of the UEFA SUPER CUP. His recovery period was set at 6 weeks
Jude Bellingham was also quick to follow, after suffering an injury to his plantaris muscle. His recovery period was set at a month.
Dani Ceballos also suffered a Grade III sprain affecting the ligaments in his right ankle against Betis. The Midfielder will be out of action for the next 6-8 weeks.
Aurelien Tchouaméni and Ferland Mendy both suffered an injury upon arrival at the French camp earlier this week. Although their injuries are termed “not worrying” it will be interesting to see if they make the list against Real sociedad.
Also, Eder Militão recently joined the list of injuries as he suffered from a muscle TEAR in his right leg. However, the injury is also termed “NOT SERIOUS” with an estimated return date set for 2 weeks.
Considering all this injuries, Arda Güler’s injury will be another hard pill to swallow for Real Madrid and their title defending hopes.
